How Our Admissions Process Works

We want the path to joining our MCS RI community to be as smooth and welcoming as possible. Here's what you can expect:

Step 1 — Submit Your Application Complete our online application. You'll share some information about your child and your family so we can get to know you better. A non-refundable $50 application fee is required to complete your submission (fee waivers are available for CCAP-eligible families).

Step 2 — Apply for Financial Aid (if applicable) If your family is interested in tuition assistance, please also complete a Clarity application for financial aid consideration. This can be done at the same time as your admissions application.

Step 3 — Schedule a Tour Once we receive your application, a member of our MCS RI team will reach out to confirm receipt and invite you to schedule a school tour. This is a wonderful opportunity to visit our classrooms, meet our staff, and see our Montessori environment firsthand.

Step 4 — Receive Your Admissions Decision After your tour, we will be in touch with our admissions decision. Families who are offered a spot will receive an official admissions letter from our team.

Step 5 — Complete Enrollment Accepted families will receive an enrollment agreement through Brightwheel, our school management platform. Simply review, sign, and submit to officially secure your child's place at MCS RI.
